Army Day

For Aviation week at my husband's work there was a family fun day with rides and games.  We told the kids all about it and Skyler's eyes got huge and said "Oh My Gosh!.  That night he took forever to fall asleep, he kept coming out and asking is it time yet is it time yet!  Poor guy it was like waiting for Santa to come.  He finally passed out and when 6am came around to get Chloe ready for school, Skyler woke up and got himself dressed in this Army Uniform.  Skyler waited patiently for 12:00 to roll around for us to go pickup Chloe from school and start the activities.  

Their first ride was on the Stryker and, as you can see in the pictures, the kids LOVED it!  I couldn't get a picture of Liam since he was right next to me but he was just as amazed as his siblings.  After that they road on a Humvee.  The rides were now all done but not the fun!  They then explored the Helicopters: Kiowa, Chinook and Blackhawk (which wasn't new to them lol)

Today was filled with such excitement and fun memories!
