February has arrived and that means time for another edition of Stories in Seven. A week ago my husband's sister came to visit and it was her first visit to Hawaii. We didn't have too much time to go swimming at the beach, so we made a quick trip to Turtle beach and to take a chance of seeing some sea turtle and soak up the beautiful view the beach has to offer. We didn't see any turtles this time but the sound of the remarkable waves and the view made up for it. Liam fell asleep about 5 minutes before our arrival and he was impossible to wait up, so daddy to the rescue and carried the 30lb sack of potatoes lol! Once we made it down to the beach the kids did their thing. Chloe loves climbing up on the rocks and towering over Mommy. It really doesn't take much to be taller than me. After a few minutes, Chloe made friends with a little girl from another country. It was so cute, she can seriously make friends everywhere. About 15 minutes into being at the beach a huge wave came and got Zack a little wet, along with Liam's leg and he finally woke up. Baby boy was a little confused on where he was at first. Must be weird falling asleep in a moving car only to be awaken on a beach with crashing waves. Skyler now surprised us all. He LOVED LOVED LOVED this beach! I have never seen him play with the waves with such excitement. He would walk out when the ocean was pulling the water back out and run squealing with excitement each time a new wave came back. Just like his older sister, Skyler made friends with two Japanese girls and it was so adorable seeing them play. The language barrier wasn't holding them back! As you can see, we didn't plan for the excitement and play that this trip gave. Skyler was literally soaked up to his neck when we were done and with no towels in the car he had to ride back in just his underwear. OOoops! We are always learning something new everyday right? As you scroll through these images you will get a glimpse of our adventure and let the story unfold.
